A Year

It's been one full year since we moved... I remember worrying prior to the move that we might not be able to survive so many changes..

But here we are... Alive, quite well, and (hopefully) all the better and stronger from the changes :)

Looking back, i might have done certain things differently...

1. WORRY LESS

2. RELAX MORE

3. WORRY EVEN LESS THAN point no. 1

Really. Life will throw you curveballs whether you worry or not. Seems like that this year, at least! And worrying doesnt make the problems vanish. You still have to face them head on and take the crap.

This year, i find that i have to, with extreme difficulty, wrap my mind around the concept that my parents, my primary caregivers for the longest time, are aging and facing aging problems. I have to also brace myself for the heartbreaking but inevitable finality of life for some of my loved ones and friends.

(Remember the show 4 Weddings and a Funeral? Well i had 4 Funerals and a Wedding. And NO hugh grant. How's that for shits)

And through all this i worried and stressed myself out with the what-ifs and oh-nos. Naturally. When none of that mattered. Somewhere out there, Someone has bigger plans for the people  around me, and no amount of cogitation or worrying was going to change these plans.

So why worry?

Have a good end to the year, everyone!!
