Thankful for Monday Swimming Madness!

Thankful for a very interesting Aquarium in the older boy's school... Keeping him and his pals entertained 😄

Thankful for the meetup and catchup with this Young Man! It's a blessing to watch him grow... And as he matures into manhood, he has many questions about why can't he do this or that, with a tinge of self awareness on the very reason why...these questions are starting to emerge and they totally break my heart. 💔

Nonetheless i m happy that i can be there for him, not to answer any questions, but more to listen and support :) 

Thankful for the Sun Rising each day :)

Early morning daze

So it's back to early morning days/daze again *yawn*

So sleepy that my eyes automatically close by 3 pm, prompting the offspring to proclaim: 

"OK YOU NEED YOUR COFFEE NOW MAMA!"

Sheesh. 

But early mornings have their advantages. Such as clearing work before the littler one wakes. Such as going to the market slightly earlier such that there are still fresh chicken wings available 😄 and such as

Sunrises :)

No New Year's Resolutions this year... Im done with resoluting -.- 

But hoping for a year of peace... For a world this turbulent and a society in a state of unrest... Peace and rational thinking, that's what we need most now.

New Year's Eve

Spent New Year's Eve at Ponggol Jetty and savouring a sumptious dinner at Ponggol Seafood restaurant ;) 

We enjoyed a leisurely stroll after dinner by the jetty and even witnessed someone catching a pretty surprisingly big squid! 

Before we left, treated the boys to some old school ice cream... Boy the memories that flooded back!

Such an enjoyable evening.. Can't think of a better way to spend my New Year's Eve :)

Last Elephant Ride

Last Elephant Ride ever!!!! Elephant rides at the zoo are ceasing operations as of Jan 5th... And while we will miss it very much, we do support the decision... 

Nonetheless, we just had to enjoy one last ride and say a proper goodbye and thank you to our elephants
