I am thankful to have had the joy and fortune of witnessing part of Singapore's progress from the 80s onwards, thanks to his leadership, vision and tenacity. His belief in achieving the impossible is awe inspiring.
Thankful to be the last generation to have seen him at rallies, on our television sets making rousing speeches... Hair curling up atop his head like a glorious lion's mane.
Rest in peace, Mr Lee.
