Today I am thankful for....
.... my in-laws for taking the kids for a while before bedtime, so that the sick husband could rest, and I could do some work!

Thankful for spending another birthday together :) (for the last 13 years!)
Also thankful that my boy has miraculously recovered from abug hecaught on Friday.. Just in time to celebrate papa's birthday!!!
We had adelicious dinner with the family at a friend's restaurant. Thankful for all the accomodations she has madefor us! :))

Met a candid parent of a boy with Autism today..
She shared her stories; her trials and tribulations; her tears and fears. We cried, we laughed, and we cried some more.
i cant profess to truly understand the problems... But im glad to provide a listening ear, a hand to hold, and tissues, of course, for both our tears!

Oh boy what a day! Work started in the morning and went on ceaselessly till 3!!!
And had to do a last minute drive to a client's house to deliver her reports. Omg. Lets never do that again!
Thank goodness i could come back in time to fetch the kids and we had a fun time playing with bubbles! :)
Thankful for the time with my kids!! (Although i might have developed a blister from using the bubble gun intensively...) hahaha

Fist pump everybody! After intensive feeding of probiotics the younger one is better today! Kept his breakfast lunch and dinner down! But still had bloatedness :(
Today I was given some peace n quiet to finish one of my many reports!

Bleargh.. Not a very good Sunday at all! Younger one vomitted twice! All his breakfast and half his lunch :( and he barely recovered from the previous bout!

Don't you hate it when children are sick? :(
I cant quite think of anything to be thankful today..

Thankful for the good traffic (and good luck!) during my drive to the School Dental Centre at Health Promotion Board!
Still cant believe i drove there with 2 bickering boys! Had a tough time with parking but eh, eventually we got in and whats more important, we survived!
I totally deserved my sushi lunch ;) (so did the boys.. They were great little patients!!)

Glad to see the little one recover so quickly!
Just looking at him you wouldnt think he is sick at all- singing, dancing, eating like a horse!
Amazing wat antibiotics can do :)

Little(r) boy is sick :(( i was at a place where the reception was absolutely horrendous when the school called for me to take him home.. Hence i missed the calls and didnt know about it until i left!!!
THANK GOODNESS the good husband was ever ready with his phone and went straightaway to fetch the boy when the school called him instead.
Oops. Failed the mummy call of duty test :(
Anyhows, thankful that i have a trusted reliable partner in times like these!!
Now praying hard the boy gets better soon!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed Sunday!!!
The older boy requested for "brunch in a restaurant" (haha, pampered much??)
And so we headed down to Arbite at Serangoon Gardens where the boys filled their tummies and began their Lego exploration.
This was followed by a surprisingly fun visit to the Art Science museum! The boys had SO MUCH fun!
So so so thankful for the time with my family :) another "heart-full" day ;)

Today I am thankful for..
.. A relatively peaceful Sunday.. Considering the husband is away, that is!
We had an awesome lunch :) delicious food, no fuss, no tears :) followed by playtime at my parents'.
:) cant ask for more, really :)

Today the hubby leaves for a work trip. The older boy bawled his guts out when he saw his father leave. I had immense difficulty regulating my own emotions when I saw him so upset.
The younger one, on the other hand, gave a hug and said, "bye!" and went back to watching TV.
I braced myeslf for a night-long struggle but amazingly, the older boy managed to calm down after some time, and we could even make a peach yoghurt smoothie together! :)
Today I am thankful for...
..... good kids :) hope they stay that way so I won't die from frustration! haha

Rushed down to work only to find out that the session was cancelled (while sitting there waiting like a fool!)
hate it when that happens! But, at the same time, am thankful that the session was cancelled, as there was another session lined up right after! So this way, I get a breather in between and catch up on work that is starting to pile up to my eyeballs.
Today I am semi-dubiously thankful for (haha, still counts ok!)...
........ a little time to breathe, and to drink my 3rd cup of coffee :)
(yes, i am a caffeine addict)
